The bores must face each other with pinpoint accuracy. The tolerances must be very tight and in the 1/100mm range. When installing the crankshaft, care must be taken to avoid damaging the crankcase during installation. The best thing to do is to use physics, heat the crankcase shells, then you can install the crankshaft with the bearings without a press tool. When it cools down, the bearings will then fit tight as a bomb. Expert knowledge is required. Overheating during heating must not occur.
